On-road price calculator

Pick a model, then a city. You get every line item — including the ₹500 FASTag and the 18% GST on the insurance premium that most calculators get wrong — and the ones that are negotiable are labelled as such.

Common questions

What is included in an on-road price?
Ex-showroom price, state road tax, the ₹600 central registration fee under CMVR Rule 81, an HSRP number plate, any state or municipal cess, one year of comprehensive insurance including 18% GST on the premium, 1% TCS on vehicles above ₹10 lakh, and a ₹500 FASTag. Hypothecation applies only if you finance the car, and dealer handling charges are neither statutory nor compulsory.
Why does the on-road price change between cities?
Almost entirely because of road tax, which is set by each state rather than nationally, as a percentage of ex-showroom banded by price and often differing by fuel. Rates range from about 4% to over 20%, so on a ₹20 lakh SUV the difference between the cheapest and dearest state exceeds ₹3 lakh. Within a single state, two cities pay the same road tax — only small items like municipal cess and dealer handling vary.
Do I need to give a phone number to see the price?
No. The on-road price, the full specification sheet and the comparison table are free and require nothing from you. There is no form, no OTP and no lead gate on a fact.
