Our commitments
No ads. No interstitials. No selling your number.
This is the product, not the packaging — and it is the one thing an ad-funded competitor cannot copy without cannibalising its own revenue.
- No display ad units, anywhere. Not in the header, not between content blocks, not in the specification table.
- No interstitial and no modal on first paint. You will never be asked to pick a city before you can read the page.
- No lead gate on a fact. The on-road price, the full specification sheet and the comparison table are free and require nothing from you.
- No third-party tag manager, no analytics SDK, no session recorder. Performance measurement goes to our own endpoint.
- We do not sell your phone number to anyone you did not ask to hear from.
Why we can say this
Display advertising is roughly a tenth of revenue at every scale in the Indian auto category, and page RPMs sit in the ₹60–180 range. A site funded by it has to chase pageviews, which means more pages rather than better ones, and it has to accept the ad stack's cost: injected content that shifts the layout, third-party scripts that eat the main thread, and an interstitial over the largest element on the page.
Those are not carelessness. They are the structural consequence of the funding model. So the performance targets on this site — a page weight budget measured in hundreds of kilobytes, a largest-contentful-paint target well inside Google's “good” band on a mid-range Android on 4G — are only achievable because we decided not to take that money.
So how does this get paid for?
Eventually, by helping people finance and insure the car they were going to buy anyway — a car loan referral, or a motor insurance policy — where we earn a commission from the lender or insurer rather than from your attention. That is a genuinely aligned incentive: we only get paid when the recommendation was good enough to act on.
None of it is live yet. When it is, it will be disclosed on the page where it happens, in the same words, whether or not that is flattering to us. If you ever find a recommendation on this site that looks like it was made for our benefit rather than yours, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.
